The Faults are
ABOUT YOUA band born out of necessity. A tragedy so unspeakable it can’t be mentioned, inspired by the need to make music for its own sake. The four barely connected members, from three parts of the globe, brought together in 2011 by fate and disparate stories. Joined at the hip by a quest for soul, melody and meaning, the band have produced a clutch of songs which tap into the hearts and minds of the open and willing. A debut E.P – ‘Seachange’(recorded with Marc Waterman of Ride and Elastica fame)- brought radio play through 6musics introducing scheme, the song ‘Archives’, too undeniable to be denied. Numerous gigs within the capital highlighted the bands ability to reach out to an audience yearning for songs with immediacy, mystery and depth. A forthcoming debut album will touch upon influences such as late period Talk Talk, British Sea Power, Paul Weller, Sigur Ros, The Walkmen, Beach House and The Bunnymen. Faults sound shines through it all.
