The New Infection

The New Infection is a new, exciting, dynamic blend of Rock N Roll, Dance and pop and is infectiously catchy. In the year since they formed they have played at Barfly, Proud, Islington 02 Academy2, Upstairs at the Garage, The Macbeth, Matt Horne’s Session at The Queen Of Hoxton and The Sebright Arms.

In December 2012 the band released their first single ‘Love Me’ which has been played on Radio 1 and has been featured on rotation on John Kennedy’s X-Posure show on XFM. The accompanying video has also received a great response.

“I love this single, it’s really catchy, it’s poppy, it’s brilliant” ALLY McCRAE, Radio1
‘Seamus Hayes has an innate ability to write really catchy pop songs’ JOHN KENNEDY, XFM

Tears For Annie

As well as music, Tears lead vocalist also makes art and installation pieces for exhibitions. Her work has been described as "Beautifully Vulgar". This controversial edge makes Tears for Annie not simply a band but a whole artistic expression.

‘Purple Heart’ EP represents the project’s first body of dark alternative pop music, which has been produced and art directed by Tears. The EP is accompanied by a distinctive artistic video; this is an introduction into Tears for Annie's world that stretches perceptions via the bizarre and the haunting. Within this hazardous domain, there is warmth in the song writing and dark humour in the imagery, which will be revealed in a series of forthcoming releases shedding light on Tear’s distinctive vision.

Whether you think the “Purple Heart” EP owes its heritage to Siouxsie or Kate Bush the introduction to this artist will definitely succeed in surprising you.

Tsars are a young 4-piece indie/progressive band from Cheam, Surrey who play a relaxed but dancey take on what they are listening to in today’s indie and alternative scene. They all listen to different types of bands and music, which draws in varying influences and comes through in their accomplished sound. You will expect to see a lively and eye pleasing performance, which you easily dance to
